Nebraska’s long, versatile shot-blocking forward
In his 2018-19 Nebraska season, Isaiah Roby was a high-upside forward who flashed real two-way value, averaging 11.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 blocks while starting all 35 games[2][12]. His best trait was disruptive length: Nebraska notes he finished that year strong, posting 13.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks over the final eight games[1]. He’s the kind of fit who brings rim protection, switchability and energy; the tradeoff is that his scoring efficiency and outside shot were still more “work in progress” than polished[2].
