Will Papciak brings two-way pedigree and early mound upside to Davidson
Papciak is a right-handed pitcher whose appeal starts with athletic versatility and a proven winning background: at Wesleyan Christian, he helped capture the 2023 NCISAA 4A title and was named state playoff MVP after hitting .714 in the postseason, then made four mound appearances for Davidson in 2024. His profile suggests a competitive, multi-sport athlete with offensive instincts and developing pitching value, making him more of a traits-and-upside arm than a finished product. If your staff values athleticism, adaptability, and long-term development, he looks like a sensible fit.
