Tevin Hammond brings veteran guard toughness and steal-generating energy to UAPB
Tevin Hammond profiles as an active, disruptive guard whose best calling card is playmaking with pressure defense — UAPB sources from his earlier Golden Lions seasons highlight high steal totals, including 44 steals in one season and a team-leading 146 steals in 2013-14. His value is the kind coaches love: pace, toughness, and the ability to create extra possessions rather than just fill a box score. If your team needs a competitive, experienced backcourt spark who can change momentum at both ends, Hammond is worth a hard look.
