Evan Appelwick Shatters Miami (OH) Career HR Record with Power Surge in 2026
Miami RedHawks INF Evan Appelwick is dominating the 2026 season with a .286 AVG, 12 HRs, 47 RBIs, and 54 runs, highlighted by his record-breaking 45th career homer in February against SEMO—eclipsing the school mark held since 2003. This 6'0", 210-lb righty slugger from IMG Academy brings elite power, clutch hitting (like a 3-run bomb in a 26-16 thriller), and proven plate discipline from Appy League stints (.277/.418/.398 in 2022). Relentless competitor with academic accolades; a MLB scout's dream for mid-order pop and leadership—prime fit for power-needy lineups.
