Damien Taylor brings SEC-sized thump and hidden explosiveness to Ole Miss
In the 2025 season, Damien Taylor gave Ole Miss a compact, downhill RB with proven production: 28 carries for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus a reception in limited work. Before arriving in Oxford, he showed real juice at Troy in the 2024 season, piling up 1,010 rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns while earning Second-Team All-Sun Belt honors. What makes him interesting is the combo of size, burst, and chunk-play ability — he ranked among the nation’s leaders in 20-plus-yard runs in 2024. He looks like a tough, high-upside fit for a physical run game.
