Jake Whitehead brings size, route polish, and proven JUCO production to East Texas A&M
Whitehead arrives at East Texas A&M as a 6'1", 200-pound junior receiver with a strong résumé from Palomar CC, where he was a two-time dean’s list honoree and was described as a top-20 junior college wideout. In the 2024-25 season at Palomar, he posted 663 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns, and the Lions’ staff specifically highlighted his hands, route-running, and playmaking ability. He looks like a smart fit for a program that wants a reliable chain-mover who can also hit chunk plays.
