Michael Yeager is a live-armed Virginia righty with breakout upside
In the 2026 season, Virginia RHP Michael Yeager has shown swing-and-miss stuff but also early-command bumps, posting a 6.75 ERA with 6 strikeouts and 6 walks in 5.1 innings; after a spotless 2025 freshman line (0.00 ERA, 4 Ks in 3.1 IP), he still looks like a useful arm thanks to his 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame, bullpen-to-rotation versatility, and proven ability to miss bats. He’s a fit for teams betting on development: not polished yet, but the arm talent and breakout-player buzz make him intriguing.
