Elon’s young QB with upside, size, and room to grow
TJ Crews IV enters the 2026 season as a redshirt junior at Elon, listed at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, with the kind of frame and developmental runway that keeps coaches interested. In Elon’s 2026 preseason quarterback notes, he’s part of a room with multiple options, which suggests he’s still competing for meaningful snaps rather than already locked into a finished role. The intrigue is his upside: he brings a transfer pedigree, a strong physical profile, and enough elasticity to project as a fit for a program willing to develop a quarterback rather than just rent one.
