Isaak Crittenden brings JUCO-ace stuff to Omaha, but the command is still catching up
In the 2026 season, Omaha right-hander Isaak Crittenden has shown swing-and-miss upside but also some rough edges, posting a 6.59 ERA with 6 strikeouts and 14 walks in 13.2 innings. The draw is the pitch mix and frame: at 6-foot-2, 197 pounds, he was brought in as a starter with a “bulldog mentality” and velocity up to 94, and Omaha’s staff views him as part of the rotation mix. He looks like a fit for teams that value toughness and projection, but the strike-throwing has to sharpen up.
