High-leverage UIW righty who’s been trusted in big spots
In the 2026 season, Braelin Pillot gave Incarnate Word a dependable bullpen arm, including a scoreless outing with 3 strikeouts over 2.0 innings against Stephen F. Austin and a scoreless inning in the Nicholls series opener, with UIW noting he recorded 3 saves in 19 relief appearances to open the season. His value is leverage: a big-bodied 6-foot-4 right-hander who has shown he can finish games, attack the zone in short bursts, and handle pressure moments. If you need a relief piece with late-inning upside, he looks like a fit.
