Confidence-Driven Freshman RHP with MIF Athleticism and Down-Away Corner Precision
Blade Paragas, a 5'11" freshman right-handed pitcher for BYU Cougars in the 2026 season, stands out for his unique differentiator: exceptional middle-infield (MIF) athleticism that seamlessly transfers to the mound, allowing him to pepper the down-and-away corner with confidence and precision[1][4][5]. Unlike typical pitchers, Paragas attacks hitters with an intensity level rooted in his championship pedigree as a 2023 ILH Division I Baseball Champion and a consistent academic performer on the Principal’s List[2][4]. His personality is defined by bold confidence and a 'go big fly' mentality, making him a high-intensity fit for teams needing a pitcher who thrives under pressure[5]. While no injury history is reported, his compact frame and aggressive style suggest a need for careful workload management, but his raw confidence and athletic versatility make him a compelling prospect for any team seeking a dynamic, differentiator-rich RHP[1][4].
