D.C. Brown brings a big-frame lefty look to Rice’s bullpen
D.C. Brown is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound left-handed pitcher who gives Rice a power arm look from the bullpen, with his 2026 line showing 6 strikeouts and 3 walks over 3.0 innings in five appearances. He’s a fit if you want a projectable, durable-bodied southpaw with upside and relief versatility; the catch is that he’s still in the early stages of translating raw stuff into consistent innings, so the value is more about arm shape and development than finished polish.
