Amaya Afatasi brings steady point-guard production and veteran poise to Evergreen
In the 2025-26 season, junior guard Amaya Afatasi has been a reliable creator for Evergreen State, averaging 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while logging 38 minutes in her debut game[1][2]. Her most notable differentiator is her table-setter profile: Evergreen’s own recap highlighted a 15-point, 6-assist outing in January 2026, showing she can both score and run the offense when the Geoducks need a stabilizer[3]. At 5-foot-8 and already a junior after time at Umpqua CC, she looks like a composed backcourt fit for teams that value experience, ballhandling, and a guard who competes for long stretches[1][2].
