High-upside Kentucky guard with NBA athleticism and shot-creation juice
Goodwin’s Kentucky profile was built on burst, downhill pressure, and the ability to create his own shot; in 2012-13, he averaged 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game for the Wildcats[11]. He stood out more for his aggressiveness and attacking mentality than for perimeter polish, which also explains why his outside shooting was a clear swing skill in college[11]. For a team, he fits best if you want a slashing guard who can generate rim pressure and plays with edge, but he is not a plug-and-play floor spacer.
