Macie Vickers is emerging as a run-producing force behind the plate for Tarleton State
In the 2026 season, Macie Vickers has been a standout two-way value piece for Tarleton State, starting every game early and leading the team with 16 RBI while ranking among the WAC’s top run producers and earning WAC Player of the Week honors after a .438 weekend with 10 RBI. What makes her interesting beyond the box score is the defensive control and maturity: opponents did not attempt a steal against her in that award-winning stretch, and she brings proven high-level pedigree from Nebraska plus a history as a captain and multi-time all-league performer. She looks like a strong fit for teams wanting a catcher who impacts games immediately with bat, game-calling presence, and toughness.
