Elite Left-Handed Pitcher with 0.91 ERA and 73 Ks in 2025 Senior Season
Trey Wheeler is a standout left-handed pitcher for Western Carolina who, as a senior in the 2025 season, posted a dominant 0.91 ERA over 46.1 innings with 73 strikeouts against just nine walks, ranking him as Florida’s No. 11 lefty. Though he redshirted in 2025 and missed 2024 due to injury, his intensity, pinpoint control, and calm mound personality make him a high-upside fit for any team seeking a reliable starter. His differentiator isn’t just stats—it’s his ability to command the zone under pressure and his resilience after setbacks, proving he’s ready to contribute immediately.
