Beau Perez is a rising 6-foot-5, 250-pound TE with upside, but still early in his college track
Perez entered Southeastern Louisiana as a converted quarterback and quickly looked like a developmental chess piece: big frame, physical mindset, and room to grow into a true mismatch tight end. In the 2025 season, he was listed as a redshirt freshman and later on the 2026 roster as a junior, but public stat sheets show little to no game-log production yet, so the appeal is projection rather than résumé. His best differentiator is versatility — coaches highlighted him as someone poised for a bigger role — and his size gives him natural blocking and red-zone potential.
