Emmanuel Karmo is already flashing starter traits for Minnesota
Karmo entered Minnesota as the No. 1 in-state recruit in the 2025 class and, in his 2025 freshman season, played in all 13 games with 14 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble recovery, and two pass breakups. At 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, he brings early-down physicality, special-teams value, and a knack for showing up in coverage and behind the line of scrimmage.
