Jacob Dienes brings low-variance left-handed relief value to Memphis
In the 2026 season, Jacob Dienes has already shown he can steady a game in relief for Memphis, including a hitless Tiger debut, a scoreless inning with a win over No. 18 Ole Miss, and relief work that helped him reach nine strikeouts early in the year. His fit is obvious: a 6-foot-2, 204-pound lefty with a history of limited but clean outings, he looks like a useful bullpen chess piece rather than a volume arm. The appeal is his composure, strike-throwing flashes, and ability to neutralize hitters without needing a flashy pitch count.
