promising right-hander with freshman-year varsity upside at New Mexico State
Carson Timmons is a right-handed pitcher whose profile points to projectable arm strength and steady production, with recruiting sources listing him as a righty who has reached 85 mph on the fastball and high school stats showing a 2026 season ERA of 2.26 with 44 strikeouts in 41 innings. He’s a fit for teams looking for a developing strike-thrower who can miss bats and still has room to add velocity and polish; the main question is how quickly his stuff translates against tougher college lineups.
