UC Irvine’s steady, crafty lead guard with a scorer’s touch
Eyassu Worku is a proven UC Irvine guard who, in the 2019-20 season, averaged 12.3 points, 4.0 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals while shooting 39.8% from three, earning All-Big West Second Team honors[3][6][9]. He stands out for his poise, playmaking and shot-making off the dribble, and UCI described him as a key contributor who could also deliver in big moments, including a game-winner against Texas A&M[7]. He fits teams that need a composed, battle-tested floor general who can create offense without forcing the issue[7][15].
