Jack Dwyer brings reliable, veteran depth to Illinois State’s secondary
In the 2025 season, Illinois State DB Jack Dwyer profiles as a tough, assignment-sound senior who keeps showing up in big moments: he logged 18 tackles, 1 interception, 1 pass breakup, and 1 forced fumble, building on a 2024 season with 14 tackles and a PBU. He’s not a flashy stat-stuffer, but he’s a steady tone-setter with proven special-teams value, enough size for the position at 6-foot, 205 pounds, and the kind of resilience that stands out after multiple injury setbacks earlier in his career. Good fit for a defense that values reliability, physicality, and experience.
