Arizona’s Andrew Jacobs Jr. brings high-upside arm talent and blue-chip pedigree to the Wildcats
Andrew Jacobs Jr. entered Arizona with strong recruiting credentials — Perfect Game listed him among Arizona’s top prep right-handers, and Arizona noted his Area Code Games, National Showcase, and all-tournament honors in the 2025 signing class. In the 2026 season, early stat lines show limited action and some growing pains, but the more important story is his profile: a slender, projectable righty with a lively fastball, spin, and a three-pitch mix that scouts have liked for its movement and upside. If you want a development arm with real ceiling, he’s worth the bet.
