Souley Boum is Xavier’s high-usage, big-shot guard with legit playmaking chops
Boum brings a rare blend of **shot creation, passing, and toughness**; Xavier’s roster notes that his 2,457 career points ranked fifth among all active NCAA Division I players, and his 2022-23 Xavier run included 22.5 points, 7.0 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in a two-game stretch that showed his ceiling as a primary engine [7][3]. At 6-foot-2, he’s not just a scorer — he can organize an offense, pressure defenses, and take over late, making him a strong fit for teams that need an experienced guard who can carry load and produce under pressure [5][7].
