Ella Dawson brings instant power off the bench for the Lobos
In the 2025 season, Ella Dawson was a freshman utility player who appeared in 41 games for New Mexico and tied for third on the team with 3 home runs, including multiple pinch-hit blasts in high-leverage spots; she also posted a .213 average with 12 RBI and showed enough versatility to earn starts at designated player and in right field. Her value is power, clutch timing, and lineup flexibility more than everyday volume, which makes her a useful fit for a team needing a spark bat and a reliable multi-role option.
