Zeke Minic is UNC’s offensive spark plug behind the plate
In the 2026 season, Zeke Minic has been one of Northern Colorado’s most productive bats, hitting .262 with a .716 OPS, 27 hits, 5 doubles, 2 home runs and 11 RBI while also showing run-producing pop in key spots[5]. Early in the year, UNC sources highlighted him as a team leader offensively, noting stretches where he carried a .423 average with a .615 slugging mark and then a .429 average with a 1.000 OPS, which points to a hitter who can impact games when he’s locked in[6][9]. At 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, he brings power potential and catcher/outfield flexibility, plus a gritty, staff-trusting profile that fits a team looking for toughness and lineup juice[1][2].
