Alayna West is DePaul’s steady two-way guard with real upside
In the 2025-26 season, Alayna West played all 32 games for DePaul and made 11 starts, averaging 7.1 points per game while scoring in double figures six times, including a career-high 19 points at Marquette and 17 in the BIG EAST opener against Marquette. She looks like a fit if a team wants a tough, 5-10 guard who rebounds, defends, and can chip in across the stat sheet after overcoming a 2024-25 lower-leg injury that wiped out her freshman season. The kicker: she’s already earning trust in meaningful minutes, which usually says more than a box score ever will.
