Erich Hartmann is a steady, top-tier MAAC bat with middle-of-the-order punch
In the 2026 season, Hartmann has been one of Rider’s most reliable run producers, hitting .320 with a .843 OPS, 14 doubles, 7 homers, 41 RBI and 74 hits while starting 51 of 52 games; he also entered April leading Rider and the MAAC in hits and batting near the top of the conference. He’s more than empty batting-average candy: Rider notes he returned for his senior year after ranking eighth in the MAAC in 2025 batting average, and he’s repeatedly delivered in big spots, including postseason and multi-hit games. If a team wants a polished, high-contact corner outfielder with gap power, consistency, and veteran calm, Hartmann fits nicely.
