Simaru Fields is ODU’s clutch shot-maker with a scorer’s feel and late-game nerve
In the 2025-26 season, Simaru Fields has been a reliable two-way guard for Old Dominion, averaging 13.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists while scoring 15+ points in 11 games and dropping a career-high 29 against Georgia State. She’s a 5'6" guard who can create in pressure moments, hit big threes, and swing games late — including multiple clutch finishes for ODU. The catch: her efficiency has been modest, so she fits best with a team that values toughness, shot creation and big-moment confidence over pure size or polished efficiency.
