Dimitri Georgiadis brings size, rebounding, and a high-IQ forward profile to IU Indianapolis
Georgiadis is a **6'9" forward** who has shown he can be a useful glue guy: in the 2020-21 season at IU Indy, he played 27 games with 17 starts and averaged **3.9 points and 5.6 rebounds** while shooting **42%** from the floor, and ESPN lists him at **0.8 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 50% shooting** in later stat tracking.[7][4] What makes him interesting is the non-box-score value scouts mention—a **long frame** and **high basketball IQ**—plus the background of being a **former soccer player turned basketball standout**, which suggests feel, toughness, and adaptability rather than flashy volume production.[2][6]
