Arkansas Big Man's College Days Fade into Pro Hustle Overseas
Willy Kouassi, a 6'10" Ivorian center, wrapped his Arkansas Razorbacks career in 2015-16 averaging 2.0 PPG and 1.9 RPG in 31 games, but shone brighter at Kennesaw State with 4.6 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and a team-high 53% FG across 21 starts in what appears to be his standout season. Now 34, he's grinding professionally in leagues like Tunisia's Dalia Sportive de Grombalia and Saudi Arabia's SBL, showcasing relentless rebounding and efficient interior scoring. His physicality and international experience make him a gritty, high-motor fit for teams needing tough, undersized bigs who battle without ego—perfect for developmental or overseas rosters.
