high-usage ODU guard with scoring punch and playmaking feel
Bacote was a productive, steady guard for Old Dominion, highlighted by a 2015-16 junior season in which he started all 35 games and averaged 9.8 points while ranking second on the team with 95 assists, showing he could both create and score.[5] His broader career profile points to a balanced perimeter player at 6-foot-4 who contributed across the board rather than just as a volume scorer.[6][8] For a team, the appeal is his combo-guard versatility, ability to handle responsibility, and proven willingness to carry a major role in a conference setting.[1][5]
