Kalyn Kyle gives Gardner-Webb a proven left-handed arm in the circle
Kyle has been part of a Gardner-Webb staff praised for a strong 2024 season, when the pitching group posted a 2.97 team ERA and Kyle was among the arms credited with career-year production under the current staff.[7] She has also shown real swing-and-miss value and run prevention upside, including an 8-inning outing in 2022 with only three hits allowed and six strikeouts, plus a 2025 win-loss record that reflects heavy usage against competitive opposition.[2][3] As a 5'4" LHP, her appeal is deception, toughness, and left-handed matchup value more than loud physical tools.[1][7]
