Emily LeGette is a run-producing machine for UNC, rewriting the record book
In the 2026 season, Emily LeGette was one of the nation’s most dangerous hitters, leading North Carolina in a record-breaking year with power, contact, and clutch pop; she set UNC single-season marks for home runs (27), slugging percentage (1.117), and total bases (153), and earned Second Team All-America honors plus Softball America’s Most Improved Player of the Year. What makes her special isn’t just the numbers: she consistently delivered in big moments, piled up walk-off and multi-homer games, and showed elite bat-to-ball skills with legitimate middle-of-the-order force—an ideal fit if a team wants a fearless, high-impact INF.
