Eli Bridenthal brings power arm upside and multi-sport toughness to Xavier’s bullpen
Bridenthal is a 6-3, right-handed pitcher for Xavier who has flashed real bat-missing ability, striking out five in 3.2 innings in his 2024 freshman season while holding opponents to a .154 average. In 2026, he was used in both relief and spot-start duty, and he’s shown enough confidence to work meaningful innings against strong competition. His calling cards are a quick arm, projectable frame, and competitive edge—plus the kind of multi-sport background that usually means he won’t blink in big moments. If you want upside and grit, he’s worth a look.
