Loreley Francia is St. John’s Workhorse Ace with Strikeout Upside
Francia has already shown she can carry a staff: in 2024 she logged a 15-10 record with a 3.88 ERA and 118 strikeouts, plus shutout-level outings and a BIG EAST weekly honor roll nod for a stretch of 15 innings with 16 Ks and just three earned runs. Her calling card is swing-and-miss stuff and the ability to miss bats while limiting damage, which makes her valuable in tight games. The fit question is straightforward: if you want a competitive left-side starter who can win with poise and power, she looks like a strong fit.
