Lauryn Taylor gives FGCU a sturdy, high-effort frontcourt edge
Lauryn Taylor entered FGCU as a transfer and quickly proved she can rebound, score efficiently, and anchor winning basketball: in the 2024-25 season she averaged 9.8 points and 8.9 rebounds while earning ASUN All-Tournament Team honors and multiple weekly conference awards.[13][14] Her best trait is consistency on the glass and around the rim—she posted several double-doubles in league play and was named ASUN Newcomer of the Week after standout performances against North Florida and Jacksonville.[3][4][10] She looks like a fit for teams that value physicality, toughness, and dependable interior production from a guard-sized forward.
