CSUN’s Tough, Competitive Point Guard with Championship Pedigree
Ajon Efferson is a 6-0, 155-lb point guard for CSUN Matadors known for his tough, competitive intensity and championship DNA from leading Pasadena High to the Pacific League title (27-7 overall). Though his college stats are modest (3.7 PPG, 0.6 AST in recent seasons), he’s a stat leader in defensive pressure and off-ball hustle, often coming off the bench but delivering high-energy bursts. Ranked top 17 in West Valley for 1 stat, he excels in school and basketball with a freshman mindset and a ‘watch me excel’ attitude. His injury history is clean, and his personality is driven, witty, and team-first. He’s a great fit for teams needing a high-intensity, low-maintenance guard who thrives in tight moments and elevates teammates through sheer competitive fire.
