Josh Hamel brings veteran leg strength and versatility to Old Dominion
In 2025, Josh Hamel enters Old Dominion as a senior kicker with a real specialist profile: he transferred in after showing field-goal range at New Haven, where he hit 7-of-11 field goals with a career long of 48 yards, and in 2024 he also handled punts, averaging 41.0 yards with 15 punts inside the 20. He looks like a useful fit if your team wants a dependable, multi-role special-teams piece with experience, academics, and the toughness to rebound from a prior season-ending injury.
