Evan Miranda is a heavy-use Aztecs bullpen arm with power potential and workhorse value
Evan Miranda’s calling card is durability: in the 2024 season, he tied for the Mountain West lead with 25 pitching appearances, all in relief, and finished with a 3-3 record, 8.58 ERA, 31 strikeouts, and one save over 28.1 innings. He’s a right-handed reliever with a strong frame at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds, and he showed some command stability by walking more than one batter only twice as a freshman. The fit question: if a team wants an experienced, high-leverage bullpen arm with room to sharpen consistency, Miranda is interesting; if it’s looking for a polished shutdown reliever right now, the ERA says “not quite yet.”
