Kent State’s 6-3 RHP Will Strode brings a projectable arm and Kentucky pedigree
Will Strode is a redshirt freshman right-hander at Kent State who already checks the classic pro-style boxes: 6-3, 195, right/right, with a high-school résumé that included a top-48 ranking in Kentucky and No. 21 among Kentucky right-handed pitchers. His current college usage has been limited, so the number to watch is development, not volume — but the appeal is obvious: physical projection, strike-throwing upside, and a frame that can add more. If your staff likes moldable arms with starter traits and room to grow, he’s worth a close look.
