7'0" Samford Center Ruben Guerrero: Elite Rebounding & Shooting Efficiency with Pro Intensity
Ruben Guerrero, the 7'0" center for the Samford Bulldogs, stands out for his rare combination of elite rebounding (16 in a single game vs. Miles College) and high shooting efficiency (59.1% as a sophomore, 67.6% FG% in 2025-26). Unlike typical college bigs, Guerrero brings pro-level intensity and a 26-point, 10/16 two-point performance that showcases his scoring versatility. His differentiator is his personality: a relentless, battle-tested competitor from Marbella, Spain, who graduated Samford in 2019 and later played in Spain's Liga Endesa, proving he thrives under pressure. With no major injury history and a mindset forged in international leagues, he's a perfect fit for teams needing a physical, efficient, and mentally tough center who can dominate the paint and shoot reliably. Care about him because he's not just a stat-line player—he's a game-changer with pro pedigree.
