Cade Walter brings left-handed pop and award-level defense to Jacksonville
Walter is a 5'11", 190-pound left-handed outfielder whose value goes beyond the box score: in 2026 he hit .277 and earned ASUN Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors, signaling a player who can impact games with both bat and glove. He also entered the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining, which makes him a noteworthy add for teams seeking a proven defender with upside and a competitive edge.
