Kyla Acres brings cleanup-lineup punch, academic polish, and sneaky toughness for Santa Clara
In the 2026 season, Kyla Acres showed real value as a versatile 1B/OF bat for Santa Clara, starting 24 of 36 games and hitting .238 with a .400 on-base percentage, 11 RBIs, and her first career home run coming against Texas. She looks like the kind of player coaches trust: productive enough to hit cleanup at times, smart enough to draw walks, and tough enough to handle corner-infield and outfield duty. Add the academic honors and a public-health major, and you get a disciplined, high-character Bronco who fits teams that want dependable offense plus steady, team-first energy.
