Cooper Lewis brings a live left arm and real upside to Georgia State’s staff
In the 2026 season, Cooper Lewis has already shown he can miss bats and attack hitters from the left side, with early outings including a scoreless, hitless two-inning relief appearance with four strikeouts and a win, plus a 0.00 ERA through his first five innings in one Georgia State game note. He’s a tall left-handed freshman out of Chamblee High School, was ranked among Perfect Game’s top 500 prospects nationally and top 50 in Georgia, and profiles as a pitcher whose value goes beyond raw numbers: promising arm talent, swing-and-miss potential, and freshman upside make him a smart follow if your team needs developmental ceiling.
