Jaylen Brown brings SEC-tested length, upside, and a fresh-start swing at LSU
Brown is a 6-5, 265-plus-pound edge rusher who arrived at LSU in January 2026 after stops at Missouri and South Carolina, and he still has three years of eligibility thanks to a 2025 medical redshirt after a knee injury in spring practice. In his 2024 season at Missouri, he played sparingly but flashed with two tackles in five games, while his high-school résumé showed real disruption juice: 62 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks in 2023.
