Elite Speed & Defensive Ace for Chattanooga Mocs
Izzy Carlyle, a 5'4" sophomore outfielder for the Chattanooga Mocs, is a data-driven standout defined by her elite speed (14 runs in 2026) and defensive mastery, earning her Region 5 Defensive Player of the Year and 1st Team All-Region honors. While her 2026 stats show a perfect 1.000 AVG in limited action, her true differentiator is her intensity: she scored six runs with a run in five straight appearances and was used as a pinch runner nine times, showcasing unmatched hustle. Her personality is that of a relentless 'bomber' who hit a monster blast in 2024, proving she brings explosive energy despite her smaller stature. You should care because she is a high-intensity fit for any team needing speed, defensive reliability, and a player who consistently turns routine plays into scoring opportunities, making her an ideal asset for teams prioritizing hustle over pure power.
