Cal Poly’s Savion Taylor arrives as a high-upside, physical young WR with real recruiting juice
Savion Taylor is a 6-foot, 180-pound redshirt freshman wideout for Cal Poly in 2026, and the reason to care is simple: he came in as a highly regarded in-state recruit and one of the Mustangs’ top-rated 2025 signings, with a strong Pacifica HS résumé that included 1,255 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. He’s a fit if a staff wants length, competitiveness, and multi-sport athleticism; the open question is game production, since public college stat logs show no meaningful 2026 output yet. In other words: upside first, proof still coming.
