Justin Rumfield brings veteran bat-and-glove utility value to UIW
Justin Rumfield is a redshirt senior infielder/utility piece for Incarnate Word in the 2026 season, and the appeal is clear: experienced, versatile, and trusted in big spots. UIW’s roster lists him at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, and the 2024 Midland College bio shows real offensive pop and contact ability, with 89 hits in 230 at-bats, a .387 average, and a 1.090 OPS. In 2026, UIW used him in multiple game states, including pinch-hitting and late-game situations, which suggests a coach who values his reliability and adaptability over flash.
