Gavin Sitarz gives UMass a lefty arm with real leverage upside
In the 2026 season, Gavin Sitarz is a graduate-student left-hander for UMass who has already logged meaningful bullpen work and picked up his first collegiate win, showing he can be trusted in pressure spots. His value is less about flashy volume and more about versatility, left-on-left matchup potential, and a steady, competitive profile after transferring from Michigan State. The numbers are still a work in progress, but the fit makes sense for a team needing experienced pitching depth with some grit and late-inning utility.
